How to Live Before You Die - Steve Jobs' Commencement Speech

3 lessons to live by...
  • "You can only 'connect the dots' by looking backwards. So you have to trust that the 'dots' of your life will somehow connect in your future.... You have to trust in something - your gut, destiny, life, karma, whatever - and go for what you know is true"
  • "Your work is going to fill a large part of your life, and the only way to be truly satisfied is to do what you believe is great work.  And the only way to do great work is to love what you do. If you haven't found it yet, keep looking. Don't settle. As with all matters of the heart, you'll know when you find it. And, like any great relationship, it just gets better and better as the years roll on. So keep looking. Don't settle."
  • "Your time is limited, so don't waste it living someone else's life. Don't be trapped by dogma - which is living with the results of other people's thinking. Don't let the noise of others' opinions drown out your own inner voice. And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition."

Here's to continuing the Journey.... trusting that your 'dots' are connecting, refusing to 'settle', having the courage to follow your heart.
